Meaghan W. McLaughlin is the Chief Lending Officer of the National Bank of Middlebury, where she joined in 2010. 

Meaghan serves as the treasurer of Helping Overcome Poverties Effects (HOPE). She is also on the board of the Risk Management Associates (RMA) Vermont Chapter. RMA is a not-for-profit professional association whose purpose is to advance sound risk principles in the financial services industry. She also serves as a director for Community Capital of Vermont, a Vermont-wide CDFI strives to make micro loans to low and moderate income business owners.

Meaghan has a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University and degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.  She has more than twenty years of banking experience in a variety of roles. Meaghan resides in Charlotte with her husband, Ethan, and son, Lincoln.

Sarah Kearns
Vermont Small Business Development Center
Sarah, a business advisor at Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC), has more than two decades of experience working in both large companies and start-ups. She provides one-to-one advising to small business owners at any stage of their business, and mentors young entrepreneurs who are just starting out. Sarah lives in Middlebury with her husband David. She has two children who are now away at college, but two Labrador retrievers who are at home. You can generally find Sarah at all different types of arts events, or picking up her own paintbrush just for fun! Sarah speaks Spanish and has advanced proficiency in French.


This members-only webinar series is co-sponsored by the Addison County Chamber of Commerce and Addison County Economic Development Corporation. Seminars are open exclusively to members of the Chamber and the ACEDC. Guests of members will be considered based upon availability and individual non-member guests may only attend (1) one webinar per calendar year.
