About Us

Dine on exceptional food and enjoy an award-winning wine list at Jessica’s at Swift House Inn, conveniently located just two blocks from downtown Middlebury.

The historic main dining room can accommodate up to 30 guests, the library up to 12 guests, and the indoor porch up to 8 guests. Service is warm, inviting, and knowledgeable. The outdoor deck is available after Memorial Day, weather permitting. The library and main dining rooms both feature gas fireplaces, cozy for romantic winter dining.

Swift House Inn is surrounded by lovingly maintained lawns and gardens, including raised beds filled with fresh herbs, which the chef uses for menu items, and cut flowers for decorating the inn. Watch the sunset from your dinner table or from one of the Adirondack chairs after dinner.

Dinner is served Thursday-Sunday 5:30-9:00 PM. From July 23 through October we will serve dinner five nights a week on Wednesday through Sunday evenings. We accommodate special parties any night.
