About Us

We started roasting coffee in 1979. Over the years we have perfected a unique style of slow-roasting to caramelize the beans. This process brings out the big flavor and bold character in the coffee. All the beans we purchase are certified organic, and sourced from the great coffee-growing regions around the world.

We love hearing from you and know that, like us, you care about quality, about each other, and about the environment. So we made a big decision, and in 2018 we became the first coffee roaster in the nation to roast with 100% renewable biogas.

Our motto “Coffee Roasted for Friends” is more than a slogan, it is really our mission. Coffee is a social stimulus that brings people together to share ideas and stories, and when people come together, a community is formed and friends are made.
