About Us

Women of Wisdom (WOW) is a group of individuals serving members of the Addison County community through funding and support, providing opportunities for hope, dignity, and self-reliance.

WOW Board Members: Amanda Bodell, Janice Bosworth, Meg Brash, Annie Cohn, Jennifer Hatch, Liz Markowski, Patty Paul, Lisa Presson, Bo Price, Lizbeth Ryan, Cindy Schultz

We are a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization

We raise funds through sales at our Main St. storefront, Sweet Charity, as well as direct monetary donations.


Our Funding Philosophy

Women of Wisdom is committed to funding the needs of individuals, families, and organizations within the community, with the goal of providing opportunities for hope, dignity, and self-reliance for our recipients. Our community includes the towns of: Addison, Ferrisburgh, Panton, Vergennes, Waltham and beyond.

We offer grants in the areas of the arts, education, health, social services, women’s issues, and the environment. There is no expectation of repayment for grant funding.
