Vermont Cider Company is seeking an HR & Finance Assistant to play a critical role providing administrative support for our HR & Finance functions. This unique opportunity has the potential for growth and is ideal for a highly detail-oriented person interested in strengthening their human resources and finance skills.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid ethical framework and understanding of confidentiality, and has demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic in prior work experience.
HR related tasks include but are not limited to processing weekly payroll, maintaining accurate and confidential employee personnel files, assist with benefits administration, take ownership of office and breakroom supply ordering and other tasks that may be needed to support the HR Manager.
Finance related tasks include supporting processes such as audit preparation, processing transactions, general financial recordkeeping and reconciliation, and other tasks that may be needed to support the Finance department.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Finance or Accounting and/or at least one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
