Powersports Service Manager

Cyclewise Inc., Vermont’s Premium Powersports dealership, is seeking a highly organized, customer‑service‑driven Powersports Service Manager to lead our Service Department. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the Service Department
  • Deliver exceptional customer service from intake through delivery
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnostics, timelines, and repair recommendations
  • Maintain an organized, efficient workflow for technicians and service writers
  • Oversee scheduling, warranty, repair orders, and service bulletins and documentation
  • Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely parts availability
  • Monitor and report on key service metrics, including:
  • Technician efficiency and productivity
  • Estimate and repair order accuracy
  • Workflow timeliness and on-time job completion
  • Proficiency metrics tied to accuracy, consistency, and process compliance
  • Use performance data to improve department operations and customer experience
  • Drive service sales and upsell opportunities by identifying repair and maintenance needs such as oil changes, tire services, transmissions, suspensions, brakes,
  • Train, support, and coach service staff to uphold dealership standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and Cyclewise quality expectations
Qualifications
  • Strong background in service management within powersports or automotive environments.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair procedures, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships through clear communication and technical expertise.
  • Experience with service writing and estimating software to accurately assess repair needs and costs.
  • Strong sales acumen, with the ability to confidently upsell services while maintaining honesty and integrity.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating a team and driving departmental performance with a calm, solution-oriented approach
