Electrical Manufacturing Technician 3

The Electrical Manufacturing Technician III independently assembles, tests, and troubleshoots electronic and electromechanical aerospace products. The associate is expected to perform component level troubleshooting on moderately complex CCA / assemblies with limited supervision. For more complex issues, the individual will consult with higher level technical and engineering staff. This role is expected to help drive quality, resolve technical issues, and improve manufacturing processes while supporting production targets.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic failures to circuit or component level using schematics and test data
  • Interpret complex drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Identify source(s) of defect and assist in establishing root cause and corrective actions with engineering and quality
  • Train and mentor less experienced Technicians
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards (IPC, AS9100, ESD)
  • Maintain accurate and complete production and test documentation

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or significant (7+ yrs) relevant job experience
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic or aerospace manufacturing
  • Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Proven troubleshooting capability at assembly and circuit level
  • Proficiency with test equipment (multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive problem resolution

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting root cause / corrective action (RCCA)
  • Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)

Salary: $35 - $40 per hour
