Pay Rate: $26.50/hour
Eligible Age: 18 years and older
Overview:
Academic Enrichment Educator Leads are experienced classroom educators who bring deep knowledge of ELP’s mission and structure, and are actively involved in mentoring staff, supporting program development, and taking on leadership responsibilities alongside the ELP Leadership Team. AEELs model best practices in curriculum, engagement, and classroom management, and contribute to the broader growth and vision of the program.
Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and support to classroom teams and AEEs
* Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum aligned with ELP goals
* Support new staff with onboarding, training, and mentoring
* Participate in program-wide initiatives and planning efforts
* Serve as a liaison between classroom educators and ELP Leadership
* Offer specialized mentoring or training sessions as assigned
* Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and program protocols
* Maintain accurate attendance, communication with families, and documentation
Eligibility & Considerations:
* AEELs have preferrably served as an AEE for at least one full year
* AEELs must be actively enrolled in at least 8 hours of approved training with a plan to complete a credential listed below OR show strong evidence of leadership, experience, and curricular development
* AEELs must hold one or more of the following credentials or degrees:
- Vermont Afterschool Foundations
- Certificate Vermont
- Afterschool Essentials Certificate
- Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate
- Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential
- Vermont Program Director Credential
- Vermont Teacher Licensure
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
