About Us

Addison West offers vintage inspired, thoughtfully styled 'Vermont modern' décor, gifts and design services.  The shop “popped up” on Main Street in November of 2020, but soon became a permanent fixture downtown. Fueled by a friendly approach that aims to bring people and their shared spaces together, the shop carefully edits items for home and life aimed at creating joy. Addison West knows there can be magic in everyday living - from couches to carpeting, from hard spaces to soft places - and is dedicated to making your home hopes and longings become places of belonging.

Addison West was founded by Monique Bonner, a 1992 Middlebury College graduate who after a career in tech marketing found her way back home to Vermont in 2010.
